Overview
I worked on a very small team as an Art Director overseeing visual design / look and feel for this video. Adhering to specific Microsoft pillars we conceptualized what productivity would look like In 5-10 years. How will people get things done at work, at home, and on the go? This was our question to answer and we did it by making a 6 minute video that tells an interweaving story of seamless technology.

Hello Poster Show Exhibit
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Overview
This poster is one of a select group featured in the Spring 2011 Lost & Found Edition of The Hello Poster Show. It's part of a limited run of 30, 19×26" silkscreen prints. The poster represents the "Lost" category, illustrating a guide to where your absent socks may be hiding in your dryer. All proceeds from Hello Poster sales benefit local Seattle charities.

Promo Cards
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Overview
Ascentium recently did an internal questionnaire that asked, "If we were an animal what would we be?" As you can imagine, the answers in a creative firm were very interesting! The purpose of this exercise was to convey that they are capable of multiple things as an agency, from interactive experiences to branding strategies, they are as flexible and unique as a Hawktopus! This promo card was the main branding collateral created to attract new business at a conference featuring Microsoft Execs.

Overview
The task at hand was to give the brand more "HTC"ness while building a new brand language that conveys epression and a unique ownable kit of parts. This was a huge challenge because this corporate rebrand was going to expand to their European and Asian markets along with the US later in the year.

______________________________________________________________________________________________
ROUND 2 WAS QUITE NOTEWORTHY AS WELL...
The concept is that HTC as a holistic brand is powerful and efficient without you noticing. Around the shop HTC had obtained the nickname "Quiet Giant" hence their current tagline..." Quietly Brilliant." In this direction the graphic elelements emanate from the HTC logo to resemble their elegant power.

Overview
Utilizing the ubiquitous doodle that all of us have done while sifting through a phone book, the simple
concept of a highlighter swath became the cornerstone design element that rebuilt this house hold name.
This represents a natural motion that was translated into an intuitive experience while searching online for
people, business or addresses.

Overview
While working as a personal designer for J Allard (Microsoft CXO/CTO) one of my favorite projects was to compose a set of Year In Review posters. This assignment originally started out as a 45 page Annual Report to showcase various highlights and accomplishments for Entertainment and Devices teams of 2009. Instead we opted to do multiple silk screened posters that utilized icons and typography which depicted the highlights of those individual teams. Posters were packaged with a 7 minute (trailer style) HD video featuring various internal teams.

Overview
Microsoft’s Professional Developers Conference is an annual event. In 2007 they wanted something “funky” and fun for this somewhat “nerdy” event. The conference theme was “Getting People Connected.” I wanted to use big bold graphics that overlapped and intersected each other to show fluid motion and "Connection". From that came this system that was fun and unique, along with flexibility across all platforms.

Overview
Developed a strategic concept for the HV brand that expresses a fluidity and organic look throughout.
This look became distinctive and innovative within the health category. I was honored to collaborate with
Felix Sockwell to create the continuous line icons which were also used as our FLOW connector
throughout the brand.
